Our aim

The goal of this website is to present accurate, Ontario-specific immunization information in plain language, with transparent sourcing, so that families can understand the schedule and make informed decisions together with a qualified professional.

Sources we rely on

Content is based on recognized Ontario and Canadian public health sources, including:

  • Ontario Ministry of Health (routine immunization schedule and program information)
  • Public Health Ontario
  • Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Immunization Guide / NACI
  • Canadian Paediatric Society, where relevant
  • Health Canada product monographs for vaccine-specific details
  • Local Ontario public health resources

Vaccine-specific ingredient information is based on Canadian product monographs and should be verified against the product actually offered by your clinic or public health unit.

How we write

We aim to be neutral, accurate, and evidence-based, to address common questions directly and factually, and to avoid both alarmism and false reassurance. Where rates of rare events are not firmly established in reliable sources, we describe them in words ("rare," "very rare," "reported rarely") rather than inventing numbers.

Review status

This website is currently in beta and has not yet completed independent external medical review. Content is based on current Ontario and Canadian public health sources and is reviewed for accuracy on a scheduled basis. Each major page shows a "last reviewed" and "next review due" date. Seasonal topics (influenza, COVID-19, and RSV) are reviewed on a shorter cycle because guidance changes more often.

Families should always verify advice with a healthcare provider or local public health unit.

Please note: This is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of Ontario, the Ministry of Health, or any public health unit. The information here is for general education only and is not medical advice — always consult a licensed healthcare provider about your or your child's immunizations.
