How pages are built

Each vaccine and topic page is drafted from recognized Ontario and Canadian public health sources, then written in plain language. Vaccine-specific details (such as ingredients) are drawn from Canadian product monographs.

Primary sources used

  • Ontario Ministry of Health — routine immunization schedule and program information
  • Public Health Ontario
  • Public Health Agency of Canada — Canadian Immunization Guide / NACI
  • Canadian Paediatric Society, where relevant
  • Health Canada product monographs
  • Local Ontario public health resources

Review cycle

Each major page displays a "last reviewed," "last source check," and "next review due" date. Most pages are reviewed on a scheduled basis. Seasonal topics (influenza, COVID-19, and RSV) are reviewed on a shorter cycle because guidance changes more frequently; those pages also carry a note reminding readers to check current guidance.

Accuracy and limits

We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it, because official guidance and product availability change. Where this website differs from official sources, the official Ontario and Canadian public health sources take precedence. To report a possible error, see the Correction Policy.
